Rage nicely please. Don’t wanna fingerblast someone’s girlfriend at a bar and wind up with coal in your stocking on Christmas.
I’m literally stealing this song directly off my Facebook newsfeed from my friend Dom. His comment with it was “i dare you not to dance.”
While I won that dare, I figured I’d give him a nod of approval by posting it to TBSE. Regardless of my non-dancing, it’s a solid, upbeat jam to get Friday started.
Great tune to get you through this very special hump day. Hopefully you can bring this home and have a hump night, am I right?
If you haven’t noticed, TBSE is back. We’ve got a handful of writers who are going to contribute on a weekly basis. The goal is 1 quality post per day and a new song of the day, every day.
I picked this song today because it’s called “Bullshittin on my Coffee Break.” I’m actually bullshittin on my lunch break as I write this so it seemed appropriate. Hot jam. I checked out the Jane Doze and they are 2 babes from NY who make mashups. I liked what I heard and you should probs check them out. The Jane Doze.
Here’s my other favorite–
So I’ve been pretty pro-Mayer Hawthorne lately. Rightfully so, as he is fucking incredible. Its like going back in time listening to the likes of Issac Hayes and other Motown greats. Its refreshing to see a resurgence of different music sounds in popular music – Black Keys being another band that tickles-my-fancy.
This song is amazing not to mention the music video which literally blows you away. If you don’t like firearms, might not be your fave vid.
Take a listen, don’t forget to sign the petition against Nickelback so we can hear Mayer Hawthorne on Thanksgiving day!
The second song by Lana that I am obsessed with:
Pawn Shop. Take the jump to Grooveshark and take a listen (or 7 like I have.)
I like the idea of eating bread and oranges and being just fine on my own.
